SkyNRG se encargar\u00e1 de crear el nuevo\u00a0<a style=\"color: #ff4513;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.veoverde.com\/tag\/biocombustible\/\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">biocombustible<\/span><\/a>\u00a0usando\u00a0<strong>el aceite de las semillas de una planta de tabaco modificada llamada Solaris<\/strong>, la cual es libre de nicotina.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #3e3e3e;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El proyecto ya se encuentra en fase de prueba y se espera que las granjas crezcan en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os. De acuerdo a Boeing, el uso de esta planta h\u00edbrida permitir\u00e1 aprovechar los conocimientos de los productores de tabaco en la regi\u00f3n para crear un biocombustible comercial. Con el paso del tiempo la compa\u00f1\u00eda espera extraer combustible no solo de las semillas sino del restante de la planta.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #3e3e3e;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">El tabaco es uno de los negocios m\u00e1s fuertes en Sud\u00e1frica. Tan solo el a\u00f1o pasado fueron producidos poco m\u00e1s de 15 millones de kilogramos de tabaco, principalmente para cigarrillos. De acuerdo a Boeing,\u00a0<strong>el uso de biocombustible reduce las emisiones de carbono entre un 50 y 80 por ciento comparado<\/strong>\u00a0con el combustible actual, aunque ambientalistas han cuestionado durante mucho tiempo esta afirmaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #3e3e3e;\"><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Boeing lleva trabajando bastantes a\u00f1os en este tema ya que despu\u00e9s de todo, los aviones son de los veh\u00edculos m\u00e1s contaminantes que existen.
